Modafinil is typically sold in 100 mg or 200 mg tablets with the 200 mg option being more popular and more widely available. The typical recommended dose is 200 mg, taken orallu once per day, usually during the morning. It may be taken with or without food. Some individuals recommend starting with a 100 mg dose for the first week so that individuals can become accustomed to the effects.
It is also possible though to take a higher dose for people with higher weight. Up to 400 mg per day has been shown to be very well-tolerated. However, it is also unclear as to whether or not increasing the dose will have any additional positive benefits. For individuals who are unsure as to what dose would suit their particular needs, it is recommended to consult the advice of a qualified doctor or health care professional.
We recommend not to use Modafinil on a too regular basis. Use it when you believe the positive effects will benefit you most. When used on a daily basis, tolerance will set in and the effects will start to become less noticeable. Most of our clients use it in the week before and/or during exams, when having to give a speech, or when struggling with a deadline.
